Sales Supervisor
Purpose of the position:
To ensure perfect execution of own scope of work, as per agreement with speed and accuracy.
To ensure correct communication & understanding of requirements to subordinates, to deliver on agreed targets and execution with speed and accuracy.
Key Accountabilities:
Operations Management
- Ensure successful achievement of sales targets in targeted outlets, channels or territories.
- Ensure the correct sales execution (product portfolio including listing, promoting and communicating) for assigned channel and outlets of own self and the team as per guideline.
- Call plan with business objectives including reviewing of current performances and to follow up on the next job to be done
- Track own and team progress against key performance indicators (including completion of basic job responsibilities and input/output KPIs)
- Working closely with various stakeholders (DMT, TM,..) by providing insight and key recommendations to improve the service at the outlet level
- Investigate, resolve and log customer issues with clear follow-up actions
- Prepare and/or review quotations, proposals and contracts to facilitate sales agreements
- Reporting of wholesalers/outlet’s performance, competitors’ activities, in a timely manner.
Business Development
- Build good business relationship with key partners (wholesalers…) and value adding by providing market insights
- Aggressively attack, defend and monitor outlets to increase organisation’s fair share in the market
People Development
- Lead and coach assigned subordinates. To be accountable for the results delivery and development of assigned subordinates.
- Assess and retain talents for the team while building successors for the position.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years in consumer goods industry
- 3+ years in sales/marketing executions management
- 2+ years managing professional salespeople
- English Written and verbal - communicable
- Computer and software (Excel, Powerpoint, Words, etc.)x
- Leadership skill in driving operation team with positive result deliveries.
- High learning and change agility.
- Able to make difficult decisions when necessary.
- Strong in communication, both verbal and written.
- In dept knowledge of the consumer insights, competitors and consumer landscape.
- A leader who can motivate and coach a team to delivery result.
- People and team development.
