The mission of the Corporate Affairs department is to create a framework that favors the continuous growth of our business strategy, consolidating the reputation of our company and highlighting the HEINEKEN brands stories.
The mission of the Legal Affairs department is to ensure that the legal services are creative and of good quality, results driven, while following the end purpose of fulfilling the strategic and commercial objectives, in accordance with the contractual obligations and complying with the applicable laws.
The Financial department is a trusted partner that contributes to achieving the strategy and ambition of HEINEKEN.
The Procurement department holds an important role in accomplishing the objectives and the final mission of HEINEKEN Romania. They supervise if the organisation is efficient in reaching the set margins by negotiating long term, strategic and cost-effective contracts.

Boris has over 25 years of experience within HEINEKEN, holding key roles in Human Resources, Sales and as Managing Director for the company's operations in three countries: Croatia, Portugal and, currently, Romania.
Throughout his career, Boris has consistently demonstrated a genuine passion for developing people and building a healthy business, which has ensured significant market share increases and innovations that have redefined industry standards, such as the introduction of beer in PET packaging.
A graduate of Sofia University, with studies in social and organizational psychology, Boris is recognized for his ability to transform teams and organizations, inspiring performance and cohesion.

Maria's story at HEINEKEN began in 2004, in the Supply Chain department, drawing on her prior experience in brewing and manufacturing technologies. In 2019, she joined the AMEE team as Area Supply Chain Director, being responsible E2E for 6 OpCos and 4 licensed partners. Her support has had a strong impact on developing safety, local capabilities, while ensuring operational excellence and meeting local objectives. In addition, her initiatives have delivered results even at a global level, building HUBs, developing sustainability plans, and reducing energy and water consumption.Since June 2023, as the Supply Chain Director at HEINEKEN Romania, Maria will continue to promote our production globally, to develop and implement a comprehensive and future-oriented supply chain plan in line with the global strategy. The goal will be the continuous improvement of local performance and capabilities, as well as the development of the organization and its people.

After an initial period of 4 years at HEINEKEN in the Marketing department, Cristina joined the PepsiCo team in 2015, however, she returned to HEINEKEN Romania in August 2023 as Marketing Director, with a clear focus on continuing to grow the strength of our brands through innovation and creative excellence. She is passionate about learning, having recently obtained an MBA in global strategy and innovation from Oxford, as well as traveling with her husband. She is also a declared animal lover, an avid reader, and has an endless passion for gastronomy. Cristina firmly believes that diverse teams are a driving force for creativity and innovation. Furthermore, the value that women bring to teams is transformative in shaping inclusive work environments through resilience, empathy, and patience.

Sales Director
Virunga's journey at HEINEKEN began in 2007 as a Channel Manager. She then took on new roles, such as National Trade Marketing Manager and Traditional Trade Development Manager. Leadership, resilience, and strategic thinking have led to innovation and commercial performance. Since 2017, Virunga has played a key role as General Director of StockDay, from its founding to its evolution within the current joint operation with Coca-Cola HBC. Her unwavering commitment to customer-centered solutions has ranked StockDay in the Top 100 FMCG companies in Romania. In 2024, Virunga returned to HEINEKEN as Sales Director. A mother of twin boys, Virunga is very passionate about discovering and exploring new places. An adventure enthusiast, she is the first woman in Romania to compete and win off-road competitions. She is also the first female sales director in OpCo.

Flavius has over 25 years of uninterrupted passion for coordinating Legal Affairs activities at Brau Union and HEINEKEN Romania. Throughout these years, a significant part has also been dedicated to managing Public Affairs aspects. A comprehensive professional experience that includes operations in Mergers & Acquisitions, Compliance, Real Estate, and Intellectual Property, negotiations, and various projects that are intertwined with HEINEKEN's presence in Romania.Flavius's professional journey began with the position of Lawyer at Arbema Arad, Legal & Public Affairs Manager at Brau Union, and subsequently HEINEKEN Romania starting in 2004. Furthermore, since 2022, Flavius has been part of the company's Executive Management team, developing legal strategies contributing to the growth and success of HEINEKEN in Romania.

Eric joined HEINEKEN in April 1998, as a Business Operations Scientist in research and development. Between 2000 and 2011, Eric held a variety of financial roles in HEINEKEN Export Group, HEINEKEN Canarias, and Global Commerce. In August 2011, Eric was appointed Finance Manager for Zagorka, HEINEKEN Bulgaria. After spending nearly four years in this role, he had the opportunity to move to Mexico to take on the position of Strategic Planning Manager at HEINEKEN Mexico in 2015. In 2018, Eric moved back to Europe to start his current role as Finance Manager at Athenian Brewery, making a key contribution to the results achieved and the business culture, as well as establishing the current partnership with Bacardi. In May 2022, Eric was appointed Finance Director of HEINEKEN Romania, with objectives focused on driving transformation according to the global strategy, delivering balanced growth and focusing on the development of people.

With a background in economics and geopolitics, Bogdan Florișteanu discovered his passion for human resources early in his career, holding various roles in rewards, workforce planning, and organizational design. Since March 2023, Bogdan has been leading the People team at HEINEKEN Romania, implementing the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion to create an open, productive, and, of course, musical organizational culture. Bogdan claims that his main source of inspiration and enjoyment comes from his three children, but he also lists reading, speed chess, and football among his passions.

David's professional experience in IT spans over a decade, holding various key roles within the logistics industry. In September 2021, he joined HEINEKEN Romania as a Business Application Manager, responsible for technical developments within the SAP ERP system and Commerce applications.Since May 2022, he has become the Digital & Technology Manager, during which he has established new work methods aimed at creating a more transparent and efficient team. More recently, in preparation for the new digital strategy, David and his team have prepared initiatives alongside the Finance team to ensure we have the necessary foundations to accelerate our journey towards a more connected and standardized future .In his free time, David enjoys nature photography, gardening, traveling, 3D printing, as well as repairing and building electronics. In his new role, David will lead an ambitious digital agenda to become the most-connected brewer.

Cristina is an experienced professional with over 20 years in the field of strategic communication, reputation management and public affairs. Her career is based on the belief that effective communication brings tangible value to both business and society.
Cristina has worked in numerous industries — including telecommunications, FMCG, pharma, medical and infant nutrition, quick-commerce and public institutions. Her approach combines strategic thinking with practical execution, whether it’s improving team performance, navigating the legislative landscape or building trust through transparent dialogue.
On a personal level, Cristina is the mother of three children, including a set of twins — an experience she often describes as offering more crisis management lessons than any PR textbook. Her hobbies include scuba diving, gardening and anthropology.
