We have an immediate requirement for a Handyman to join our Admin Services Team, reporting to the Property Supervisor.

The Handyman is responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs to company properties and facilities to ensure they are safe, functional and well maintained. The role supports internal clients by attending to approved maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, coordinating with contractors where required, and providing general administrative and facilities support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Main duties include:

• Ensure that company properties are well maintained and approved requests by tenants are attended to in a professional and timely manner.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers, including sourcing and recommending suitable vendors for maintenance and service works.
• Verify invoices from suppliers and service providers and assist with initiating payment documentation in line with approved budgets.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to understand and support requirements related to accommodation, housing maintenance, office furniture, vehicles, stationery, and transport.
• Perform standby, after-hours, weekend, or on-call duties as required.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the Property Supervisor or Admin Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Grade 10 Certificate or PET certificate in Carpentry or Plumbing.
• 1 -2 years of experience in administrative operations or properties/facilities maintenance.
• Basic computer literacy, including MS Word and MS Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, hardworking and willing to take initiative.
• A current driver’s license is desirable but not required.
