Warehouse Manager
Job Descriptions:
- Drive safety and sustainability in the warehouse & transportation for the warehouse or the group of warehouses that he is responsible for.
- Lead by example.
- Put in place reporting and follow-up.
- Increase safety culture and cooperate with stakeholders.
- Define long term plan and annual plan including objectives, goals and targets for warehousing operation in line with the OpCo logistics strategy.
- Coach team leaders in monitoring and improving the warehouse process execution. Address issues with team leaders. Mobilize additional resources when needed.
- Regularly assess how goods movement is executed on the shop floor.
- Implement traceability, FEFO, expiry date and freshness policies. Ensure stock accuracy and losses are managed
- Ensure storage conditions are in line with HEINEKEN standards and obsolescence is minimized.
- Ensure right RPM policies and procedures are in place.
- Define and purchase/lease the required quantity and mix of warehouse assets and equipment. Ensure they are maintained in good working condition and in line with Heineken Standards and applicable regulations.
- Set-up and implement the W&T Pillar in the warehouses, its strategy, control systems, and manage the Pillar Team, resources, and improvement team planning.
- Define reporting requirements and use reported information to monitor and control warehouse & transportation performance and drive decision making.
- Ensure the commitment and delivery of LSPs based on signed Service Level Agreement
- Organize warehouse team and manage the people including recruitment, performance management and (career) development, in line with the Heineken procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Higher Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant fields
- 7-10 years in warehousing / logistics
- Solid business acumen and strategic orientation
- Broad knowledge in core Supply Chain processes to be able to drive effective collaboration
- Experiences in managing an organization with large number of people.
- Experiences with TPM, SAP, WMS or other ERP systems is a plus
- Other skills and languages: Microsoft Office (Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English
