Quality Specialist (Opco Supply Chain)

Job purpose:

  • To give customer/ consumer the premium beer quality with lowest cost through controlling, improving, monitoring and auditing the brewing process using tPM methodology
  • To standardize deployment, procedure , method, technological requirement from OpCo level for overview picture where to focus, priority and get sustian the results
  • To ensure compliance is followed prorely in SC with actions and Dead lines
  • To co-operate with other sections for new product development (liquid part, legal complaince from SC)

Main responsibilities:

  1. Safety, food safety & sustainability:
  • Ensures that all quality activities in Technology section & Production are done in line with HEINEKEN Safety, Food safety and Sustainability standards.
  • Challenges HEINEKEN Safety, Food safety and Sustainability standards.
  • Contributes in implementing safety improvement activities. Ensures safe sustainable production environment.
  1. Quality of the process and product:
  • Drive the implementation of quality system and procedure following Heineken rule, standard, local registration. And propose possible improvements to cross-function and leader.
  • Structurally prevents quality issues in the area of responsibilities by cooperating with internal and external parties / stakeholders. Provide knowhow and train technology & quality knowledge for Production staff.
  • Actively contribute into the technological implementation / requirement of the recipes and NPI’s - OTIF.
  1. TPM and continuous improvement:
  • Defines the priorities and losses to be attacked (for the area of responsibilities). Drive problem solving and improvement activities in a TPM structured way.
  • Lead improvement activities, improvement team by applying PQ tool & route. Trains & coaches PQ methodology, tool, & route to members of the team, AM staff.
  • Drive for zero defect/ zero loss by applying  process control & condition management, benchmark and adapt production process in response to business transformation and innovation.
  1. Process Management:
  • Drive for FTR and loss management (extract loss, material consumption, chemical consumption, productivity). Set up condition for improvement as well as challenge the technological limits.
  • Drive for problem solving, investigation when deviation happens and strongly co-operate with Production in the area of responsibility to takes appropriate corrective and preventive action.
  • Participate into the implementation of NPI  within area of responsibility. Sets-up validation protocols and first product release according to Heineken Standards & Procedures. Contribute to HACCP review for NPI.
  1. Information management & Reporting:
  • Drives key quality performance data collection (in the area of responsibility). And reports within team and stakeholder.
  • Analyse the reporting data and propose improvement in term of quality, cost and productivity.
  • Proactively implement digital solution follow  company digital plan to collect real time data/ phenomena on the shop floor; and to enable real-time decisions.
  1. Supplier Management:
  • Collects and analyses data about the suppliers’ materials quality / performance, used for the further decisions / decision making.
  • Closely cooperates with suppliers on problem solving activities.
  • Executes trials and testing in order to improve or implement new materials, products.

 

Job requirements:

Qualification: University degree of Food Technology/Biochemistry/Chemistry

Experience & skills:

  • 2-3 years beverage technological experience and quality systems.
  • > 3 years experiences in management 1-2 job areas  in controlling/managing all technological aspects of Brewing areas :Silo/Brewhouse, Cellar and Filtration; or Packaging: Canning line/ bottling line.

Preference for experience in:

  • Process of malting.
  • Process of Brewing including Brewhouse, fermentation and filtration process.
  • ISO, HACCP, PDCA loop, TPM methodology.
  • Lab equipment, instruments used in food industry especially for Brewing.
