POS Warehouse Innovation & Transformation Lead (Binh Dien Warehouse)

Results

Safety and sustainability

Drive safety and sustainability in the warehouse & transportation for the warehouse or the group of warehouses that he is responsible for.

Lead by example.

Put in place reporting and follow-up.

Increase safety culture and cooperate with stakeholders.

  • Zero accident is recorded.
  • Safety culture is improved and accelerated at workplace.
  • Safety compliance and safety KPIs are achieved.

Warehouse Planning

 

Define long term plan and annual plan including objectives, goals and targets for warehousing operation in line with the COM operation strategy.

  • Resources are available to meet targets on service levels and cost efficiency.

Warehouse Process Execution Management

Coach team leaders in monitoring and improving the warehouse process execution. Address issues with team leaders. Mobilize additional resources when needed.

  • Logistics operation KPIs are accomplished on time in full.

Goods Movement

Regularly assess how goods movement is executed on the shop floor.

  • Heineken rules and local procedures are adhered to.

Inventory management

Implement traceability, FIFO, expiry date and freshness policies. Ensure stock accuracy and losses are managed

  • Execution of inventory management are in line with procedures.
  • Accurate stock information is ensured.

Storage & stock quality assurance/ management

Ensure storage conditions are in line with HEINEKEN standards and obsolescence is minimized.

  • Storage conditions are in line with the applicable standards and procedures.
  • Product quality is preserved.

Assets & Equipment Management

Define and purchase/lease the required quantity and mix of warehouse assets and equipment. Ensure they are maintained in good working condition and in line with Heineken Standards and applicable regulations.

  • Assets and equipment are sufficiently available, utilized properly and are fit for right purposes.
  • Cost for maintenance and upkeep of assets and equipment and controlled.

Cost & Value understanding

Manage transaction and apply smart re-allocation to reduce/ or stop slow moving and write-off items.

Optimize daily operation spend and save cost.

  • Analyse monthly stock age and inventory reports to learn about the impact on cost & value.
  • Maximize productivity v.s total cost/ spend.

TPM & Continuous

Improvement

Set-up and implement the W&T Pillar in the warehouses, its strategy, control systems, and manage the Pillar Team, resources, and improvement team planning.

  • All warehouse employees are involved in TPM.
  • Contributions to improving warehouse operations across Heineken via continuous improvement initiatives and shared good practices are proven.

Management reporting

Define reporting requirements and use reported information to monitor and control warehouse & transportation performance and drive decision making.

  • Team performances are driven and backed up statistically & systematically.

Transformation Execution

Deploy & roll-out one WMS on POS WH management.

Simplify the daily operation tasks and reduce the abnormal arising.

Build an outsource option in terms of one part or one chain of process to move fast and efficiency.

  • Translate workplace culture to become professional and gain world class level.

Organization and People management

Organize warehouse team and manage the people including recruitment, performance management and (career) development, in line with the Heineken procedures.

  • Workforce plan is efficiently planned and executed in accordance with the organizational vision.
  • The team is engaged, motivated, and driven to uncap their full potentials.

 

Knowledge and Experience

 

Description / Guideline

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Higher Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant fields

Experiences/skills

  • 7-10 years in warehousing / logistics
  • Solid business acumen and strategic orientation
  • Broad knowledge in core Supply Chain processes to be able to drive effective collaboration
  • Experiences in managing an organization with large number of people.
  • Experiences with TPM, SAP, WMS or other ERP systems is a plus
  • Other skills and languages:  Microsoft Office (Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI)

Languages

Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English
