Job summary:

As a Logistics Procurement Executive, the candidate will be responsible for all sourcing activities for Transportation and Warehouse inquiries from nationwide, including but not limit to sourcing, supplier and stakeholder management, problem solving, risk management, improvement. The candidate will play a key role in high-quality- procuring and continuous efficiency improvement for the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to provide data and develop recommendations to execute business strategy
  • Connects with and influences stakeholders (internal and external) to comply with policies, quality standard, strategies on category procurement/operation
  • Demonstrate the well application of negotiation skills, benchmarking, data analysis, financial analysis, outside-in approach to deliver the optimal result in sourcing and finding opportunities, innovations
  • Manage sourcing activities including tendering, negotiation & supplier selection, contracting… for the categories.
  • Collaborates and manages operational relationship with internal and external stakeholders to secure and maximize deliverables, ensure clear and accurate specification/SOW of request.
  • Extract relevant information and analyses complex data to identify issues and recommendations, areas for improvements. Contribute and take action for continuous business improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data for tracking and benchmark.
  • Maintain and update supplier database, supplier evaluation
  • Coordinate procurement schedule with each relevant project schedule to reach overall project milestones.
  • Control and solve the problem in purchase progress and report to supervisor for resolution On-Time-In-Full.
  • Establishes and builds relationships through a business partnering approach
  • Drive with transporters to seek for opportunities route to market transportation cost better
  • Manage transporters more strategic and approach with long term direction
  • Prepare capability for new demands with the combination b/w transport and warehouse
 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Foreign Trade/Business Administration

Skills:

  • Techniques to ensure data accuracy, data analysis and attention to detail to provide accurate insight and compliance checks
  • Ability to create, execute and apply the most appropriate tendering/sourcing and negotiation techniques, objectives, methods of persuasion
  • At least 7 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role; preferably in F&B industry & foreign invested companies
  • Familiar in procurement process for logistic & warehouse. Good skill in Supplier/Stakeholder Management, Category Management, Risk Management, Contract Management and Continuous Improvement.
  • Required foreign language: English (good speaking, listening & writing)
  • Proficient in using MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other working Apps
  • Integrity, honest, cautious, straightforward, diligent, detail attention
  • Analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving skills, supplier management
