Assistant Brand Manager (Strongbow)


  • Be jointly responsible for protecting and developing Heineken’s brand equity. Support the Brand Manager in being a brand custodian, assisting in the planning, execution and evaluation of various marketing activities under the trademark campaign.
  • Assist in several and lead a few of the strategy development, execution and measurement & evaluation (M&E) of variant-specific marketing activities from ATL to BTL.
  • Lead the digital social community and influencer management for Heineken.
  • Participate in consumer and market research activities, providing preliminary recommendations on consumer insights, brand health analysis, market review, etc. Conduct regular market visits to be constantly aware of ongoing and new activities in the trade.  Monitor competitive activities.
  • Work and follow up with the Trade team & Sales team to ensure brilliant execution and direct output of brand strategies that are superior to competitor activity.
  • Lead Heineken internal engagement/ communication activities for Heineken employees.
  • Lead POSM, Packaging development process
  • Ensure strict adherence to our compliance agenda.
  • Responsible for effective utilisation of the marketing budget through highly creative consumer-centric programs that deliver robust measurement and efficiency (M&E) performance.


Qualifications & Experience required:


  • Self-starter & a believer in taking accountability to make things happen.
  • Bachelor degree with 1-3 years marketing experience.
  • Background in FMCG &/or lifestyle industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent track record on working with various media, creative, research and PR agencies.
  • Some experience & exposure to sales and trade marketing / customer marketing preferred
  • Strong project management skills – has demonstrated an ability to land breakthrough initiatives from conceptualization to launch
  • Ability to work and engage cross-functionally and remotely
  • Good analytical skills, good with numbers.
  • Proven ability to draw consumer insights and actions from data and translate these insights into business opportunities.
  • Strong command of English (given the extensive exposure to English-speaking teams & the level of sophistication in English usage in brand communications).
