Tax Compliance Assistant Manager (1-year contract)
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tax declarations in accordance with tax regulations;
- Review month-end & year-end closing entries booking in relation to tax;
- Review tax data, including tax reconciliation & prepare for tax audits;
- Assist Head of Tax in face-to-face defense during tax audits (if any);
- Review relevant documents, address tax concerns of users, provide tax trainings in relation to tax implications of commerce activities;
- Analyze tax related financial data, identify tax risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to the management;
- Read, analyze and highlight to Head of Tax the impact of new laws & regulations
- Other assigned tax tasks by Head of Tax.
Requirements:
- Qualification:
- University degree
- Accounting background (ACCA/CPA is preferred)
- Experience/skills:
- At least 9-10 years tax experience specialized in corporate taxes
- In-house tax experience in FMCGs, detailed oriented and can handle big data are advantage
- Communicating and Influencing: convey the ideas to business partners
- Effective decision-making: sound judgment and reasoning to come to the right solution and make sure they are implemented.
