Promo Investment Manager

Job purpose

This position is to drive Revenue & Margin growth in Heineken Vietnam in consumer & customer centric way, that partners with Brands, Sales & Trade Marketing to develop the design and drive the execution of investment strategy (trade terms and promotions, if any) for traditional off-trade, to support commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Trade terms & Promotion Agenda for traditional off-trade for Heineken Vietnam

  • Develop trade terms and promotion strategies for traditional off trade to support commercial strategies and priorities.
  • Develop trade terms and promotion framework, golden rules, execution guardrail, governance process. 
  • Lead the alignment of strategies and frameworks with key stakeholders (brand team, trade marketing, head of sales etc.)
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness, efficiency, conditionality of the trade terms and promotions and carry out benchmarking with competition.
  • Develop and align the budget allocation for annual planning and each performance cycle with key stakeholders (finance, head of sales, trade marketing etc.)

Project Management

  • Lead key revenue projects in coordination with the ground Operations team.
  • Work with the Global/Region Teams to bring best practices to Vietnam markets and act as a bridge between Global and Local Strategy and Knowledge sharing

BU Champion

  • Acting as RMG Champion at BU level to Support RMG Agenda Communication (Monthly RMG KPI Performance)
  • Timely Update Local Insight, competition landscape to take corrective action

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in Economics/Business Management/Finance
  • Min. 7 years in RM, Commercial (Trade/CMI/Brand/Sales), Finance business Partner preferably in FMCG or Nielsen/Consultant FirmsGood commercial acumen and result – oriented,
  • Good financial acumen (margin, profitability, ROI, P&L)
  • Strong Strategic analytical skills, able to work out with complex data set & bring out insightful recommendations
  • Basic understanding of RMG Techniques, including Value Chain, Promotion Intensity
  • Ability to visually present analysis, key insights, facts & figures in a compelling way
  • Strong interpersonal/communication/influencing skills to win support and drive decision making
  • Excellent speaking and writing in English
