Head of Business Control - Supply Chain
Job purpose:
Be the principal Finance business partner for Supply Chain stakeholders, jointly shaping the business agenda by overseeing financial planning, analysis, and performance management across the function, and enabling operational excellence, cost efficiency, and long‑term strategic transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Budget Financial Planning and Analysis
- Leading in Strategic Plan, Annual Plan as well as Rolling Forecast Cycle for Supply Chain scope covering both CSLP, COGS, SC Fixed expenses, inventory and CAPEX.
- Leading the financial planning process through Month-end closing, rolling forecasts, monitoring variance analysis of budget vs. actual results, ensure accurate implementation, highlight the business risk/ops and address the solution for timely business decision making.
Finance Business Partner
- Develop strong working relationships with Supply Chain Director, Brewery Directors, CSLP director and other key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
- Translate supply chain strategy into financial targets and measurable KPIs.
- Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Support make‑or‑buy decisions, footprint strategy, and network optimization.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, planning, and logistics teams to evaluate business cases and operational changes.
Performance management
- Manage end-to-end cost transparency across logistic, brewery and SC Opco.
- Monitor and analyze variances vs. budget/forecast; recommend corrective actions
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for operational and financial KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce SC cost and improve working capital.
- Lead CAPEX for Supply Chain function, ensuring robust investment evaluation, disciplined prioritization to maximize return on invested capital.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
- Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting, and supply chain financial processes.
- Support sub-function finance team in terms of audits and ensure compliance across global or regional operations.
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop a team of business controllers and analysts
- Define and build a high‑performance culture focused on strategic thinking, business acumen and digital transformation
- Develop talents and succession plans
- Strengthen collaboration between finance and supply chain functions and enhance cost conscious mindset through Finance to non-Finance training every year
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor in accounting, Finance or relevant fields
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in FMCG business partnering finance, auditing, management reporting & budgeting; preferably has Supply Chain Finance background
- Relevant experience in FMCG is preferable.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, capable of managing large team, building successor plan and develop talents.
- Strong collaboration skills, capable to deliver results both as a leader and a team player.
- Strong problem-solving skill and has the ability translate analytical data into narrative and presentation.
- Self-motivated professional, pro-active and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
