Commercial Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team, responsible for analyzing sales data, developing and managing dashboard reporting systems, and supporting the sales team in making data-driven business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analytics, experience working in the FMCG industry, and proficiency in Business Intelligence tools.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dashboard & Reporting System Management

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive sales reporting dashboards using Power BI
  • Manage and optimize automated reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor sales performance and business health
  • Train and support sales teams in utilizing reporting tools and interpreting data insights

Data Analysis & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior patterns
  • Build forecasting models and conduct trend analysis to support strategic planning
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives

Sales Team Support

  • Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to sales teams
  • Support sales planning processes and target setting activities
  • Analyze sales performance by region, product, and customer segments
  • Participate in sales meetings to provide analytical perspectives and strategic insights

REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills (Required)

  • Power BI Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Power BI with experience in designing and managing complex dashboards
  • Data Analysis: Strong ability to process, analyze, and visualize large datasets
  • Advanced Excel: Expert-level skills in complex functions, pivot tables, and macros
  • SQL: Experience in database querying and data manipulation

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or commercial analyst roles
  • Highly Preferred: Experience working in FMCG industry, particularly in beverages, beer, or food sectors
  • Direct experience collaborating with sales teams and understanding sales processes
  • Proven track record in building and managing reporting systems

Knowledge & Analytical Thinking

  • Deep understanding of sales processes, sales funnels, and key performance metrics
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese FMCG market dynamics, especially in beer/food industries
  • Strong data-driven mindset with ability to translate data into actionable business insights
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics

 Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex insights clearly
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to effectively support sales teams
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration
  • Proficient English communication skills (reading comprehension, reporting)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
