Regional Commercial Manager

Job purpose

Managing the regional sales activities to achieve the sales targets within the approved budget and providing customers and consumers with good services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, developing sales strategies for specific regions and the region's  KPIs and budget to ensure all sales activities are in line with the company sales strategies and meet set KPIs for sales volume, distribution expansion and special projects
  • Setting and controlling Local Marketing Expenses, overhead budget to ensure the sales programs are implemented as scheduled and efficiently.
  • Managing and developing the distribution system and channels in the region to achieve the sales and Commercial targets and to increase market share.
  • Handling all issues relating to distributors and evaluating their performance regularly in order to have the appropriate actions/adjustments.
  • Following and analyzing the sales performance through database, market visits and competitors' activities to have the appropriate actions.
  • Giving the proposals/recommendations to CSOM and CD for revising or changing the sales policy in accordance with the market changes.
  • Monitoring, leading, coaching and training sales teams to improve their performances, to enhance their skills in achieving the sales and Commercial PBIT targets, to provide customers/ consumers with good services and to be in compliance with the selling standards.
  • Being accountable for deploying the activities and issues of Promotion Coordinators and Promoters to ensure their performance meets company's standards.

 

Job requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and people management abilities.
  • High level of integrity with strong negotiation skills.
  • Solid planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
