Salary: £76,000 - £80,000 plus 15% benefits allowance (can be taken as cash), and further benefits listed below

The Revenue Growth team develops and shapes the HEINEKEN commercial strategy across all our categories and sales channels, turning our long-term Off Trade strategies into practical commercial plans for execution.

 

About the role:

Reporting to the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Lead, the Off Trade Price and Promotion Lead owns the promotional lever of RGM, as well as being accountable for short-term tracking, execution and governance of pricing.

 

You’ll build and embed organisational capability to ensure our recommended price and promotions are concise and clearly understood when sold to customers and determine how we drive the productivity of our promotion spend to deliver our business goals.

 

Some of the role’s responsibilities include:

  • Apply category pricing dynamics and experience of trade promotion management and optimisation, to successfully lead and embed commercial change
  • Work with guidance from brand marketing and RGM colleagues in strategic pricing to lead the design, development and continual upgrading of the Pricing & Promotion playbooks, tools, end to end processes and capability
  • Proactively manage tracking of the risks and opportunities process to support market share growth and improve return on promotional investment
  • Use consumer data to understand promotional performance by activity and identify the optimum mix of promotional elements
  • Help build a sense of community for promotions across the RGM, Category management, Finance, Brand and Commercial teams and region
  • Coach and development of the price & promotion manager in the team
  • Lead the process management of analytical tools for the whole RGM team, including vendor management

About the person we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a leader with experience in effective collaboration, influencing and inspiring others in your team and wider business.

 

A pragmatic and growth-mindset, passion for promotions, retailers and determination for delivering user-friendly approaches will set you in good stead.

 

A few more things you’ll have:

  • Previous experience of promotional optimisation and building commercial strategy
  • Demonstrable change management experience
  • Proven expertise in category management, account management or commercial strategy
  • Advanced storytelling and presentation skills
  • Desire and ability to coach others to high performance
