The Shared Support Hubs comprise of three different hubs, which are subsequently separated into Clusters of Operating Companies (OpCos) within HEINEKEN. This role is within the West Cluster which includes Ireland, UK, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. These Shared Support Hubs concentrate three specialisms (Maintenance, Capex-C and Quality & Technology) and will operate on a European level. This means that the expertise and strengths of the OpCos will be combined and there will be OpCo-wide cooperation.
About the role
This is a great role for a reliability focused engineer to get their teeth into, you’ll play a supporting role across all 8 breweries within the west cluster. The role will identify, drive and align continuous improvement processes across the OpCos and look for commonalities across each Brewery to drive breakdown reduction by sharing best practices, processes, and KPI governance. At the heart of what you’ll deliver is the compliance to all relevant safety and statutory requirements.
You’ll need a continuous improvement/TPM mindset to maximise the efficiency, effectiveness and value of our production & utilities assets and resources. You’ll need to bring your detailed understanding and experience of modern maintenance techniques such as Preventative & Predictive Maintenance, FMECA & RCM and you’ll also need to be familiar with using CMMS as you’ll need this to analyse our breakdowns and lead the development of common maintenance strategies across the sites.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced maintenance or reliability engineer with a recognised engineering apprenticeship HNC / HND or have achieved an engineering degree with several years’ experience).
You’ll be comfortable using structured maintenance development techniques and experience of process and high-speed packaging equipment to deliver outstanding levels of reliability at optimum cost. Ideally, you’ll have IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications already, but we can put you through the training if not.
On top of the qualifications, we’re looking for:
- A positive outlook with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience of modern planned maintenance techniques and Computerised Maintenance Methodology (CMM) systems
- Previous experience working in a similar highly – automated and safety critical manufacturing site, preferably across multi-sites within FMCG
- Confidence and ability to work autonomously
