Remuneration: £12.60 per hour – Full time (35 hours per week)

Contract: 8 – 12 weeks

What you’ll do as an Intern with us:

As an Intern, you’ll gain an insight in what it takes to make some of the UK’s favourite ciders, as well as experience working on a busy production site in a global business.

Ideally, the tasks that you’ll be working on will add value and compliment your studies. We’ll also give you access to training that allows you to complete your duties safely and to a good standard.

The possibilities don’t have to end at the end of your internship with us! We offer a brilliant Global Supply Chain Graduate scheme that may be of interest to you after your studies!

You will be paid during your time with us. To ensure this opportunity is accessible to all, and living expenses can be covered whilst on the internship (pro-rata).

 

About the Internships:

 

Digital Engineering Internship
In this role, you’ll work on enhancing digital tools and systems that help our brewery run smarter, not harder. You’ll be part of a team that’s driving performance through data and innovation.

Key Activities:

  • Get hands-on with local digital systems and help improve how they’re used across the site
  • Develop or enhance digital tools to increase engagement and effectiveness on the shopfloor
  • Support teams in building confidence and skills in using digital solutions
  • Identify improvement opportunities by analysing manufacturing performance data
  • Ensure all work aligns with our Safety, Quality, and Sustainability standards
  • Actively report safe/unsafe behaviours through our local safety platforms

 

TPM Internship

In the TPM role, you’ll focus on lean manufacturing and operational excellence, working closely with shopfloor teams to embed best practice and drive continuous improvement.

Key Activities:

  • Learn and apply TPM fundamentals, helping teams implement effective daily routines
  • Support integration of digital tools into shopfloor activities
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality by following internal procedures and reporting systems
  • Help identify and lead change initiatives focused on improving performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with teams to foster a mindset of continuous learning and improvement

 

 

Who we’re looking for:

 

We’re looking for somebody that shows enthusiasm and is willing and ready to learn, on top of that you may have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

 

  • Ideally, a 2nd year student starting 3rd year of study in September 2025, or a Master's or PhD student. For the right candidate, we can be flexible on this.
  • Studying a relevant qualification to your chosen internship, which would include one of: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Digital Engineering, Automation, IT, Data Science or a related discipline
  • Comfortable using digital tools and systems (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to show examples of teamwork, initiative, and a desire to make things better – whether through work experience, personal projects or society involvement
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently, with a good degree of self-motivation.
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK - A student VISA only permits 20 hours of work per week during term time.

 

You’ll Stand Out If You:

  • Have an interest in Lean manufacturing tools (TPM, 6 Sigma, etc.)
  • Enjoy solving problems and making data-driven decisions
  • Can explain complex digital or technical ideas in simple, practical terms
  • Communicate clearly and confidently – both in writing and in person (English B2 minimum)
  • Are open-minded, empathetic, and good at building connections with others
  • Want to learn, grow, and contribute to something bigger
