Salary: £25,500 - £28,500 base depending on experience plus full list of benefits listed below

Contract:

Did you know that HEINEKEN own over 2,400 pubs in the UK?  HEINEKEN has a long-held belief that pubs are an integral part of British culture and that well-invested pubs, run by skilled operators can prosper and thrive. As the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands, we’re looking for equally brilliant people to help us on our journey to building a better future.

Part of building a better future is supporting our lessees, ensuring they have the right tools to build their businesses and play an important part in their thriving communities. This would be impossible without gold-star colleagues who care about people, account management and everything we stand for.

There’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we’re looking for a Real Estate Coordinator to join the Property team.

About the role
We're a team of around 13 colleagues within the Compliance and Real Estate function. We're a small, close-knit, and high-performing team, working collaboratively to deliver excellent outcomes.

This role will provide specialist administrative support to the Estates team, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with the Pubs Code etc. Regulations 2016, the Scottish Pubs Code and internal policies and processes.

The role involves drafting and interpreting legal documentation such as leases and related property events. A background in Real Estate or Property would be advantageous but is not essential. You'll be required to produce accurate documentation within tight timescales, maintaining accuracy at all times, while ensuring all systems and trackers are kept up to date.

You'll need a high level of attention to detail and the ability to confidently navigate multiple systems. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritising work effectively.

Working within the Real Estate team offers excellent development opportunities. You'll support a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, gain experience within a regulated industry, develop a deeper understanding of the pub business, and gain exposure to new systems and processes. There will also be opportunities to contribute to ad hoc projects.

Who we’re looking for
Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and bring a positive, can-do attitude with a desire to continually improve. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and confident managing multiple tasks and activities at the same time, with the ability to prioritise your workload effectively.

As a Real Estate Coordinator, you’ll have a keen eye for detail and feel comfortable interacting with a wide range of stakeholders across Star Pubs & Bars, Heineken UK, and external suppliers.

Experience providing administrative support in relation to leases, lease events, and property documentation would be beneficial.

We embrace learning and growth, and there is genuine scope to develop within this role. You may also bring experience and strengths that are not listed above — if you have a genuine appetite for learning and development, you don’t need to tick every box to be a great fit.

Our ways of working
Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You’ll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day in the office and two days from home, although but you’re more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.

Our Benefits
In addition to your base salary, you’ll also receive:

  • An annual bonus
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
  • Double matched pension (up to 10%)
  • 35 days holiday
  • A quarterly allowance towards purchasing our delicious ciders and beers! (low and no alcohol options available)
  • Exciting opportunities to develop your career

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.

The Application
If you like what you’ve read and want to explore this opportunity further, please apply as soon as possible. We may close vacancies early where we receive significant numbers of applications, so don’t delay!

If you need any adjustments made to support your application, for example if you require information in different formats, or if you have any accessibility issues, then we’re more than happy to review our processes – please feel free to get in touch with us as recruitment@heineken.co.uk

In all likelihood the ideal candidate for this role won’t meet every single requirement in this advert, in fact we all need the opportunity to grow and develop in role.  We understand some applicants are less likely to apply to jobs unless they feel they meet every single qualification. The team at HEINEKEN would encourage you to submit an application if the advert has piqued your interest rather than ruling yourself out based on any self-limiting beliefs. You never know, you may be exactly what we’re looking for!
