Did you know that HEINEKEN own over 2,400 pubs in the UK?  HEINEKEN has a long-held belief that pubs are an integral part of British culture and that well-invested pubs, run by skilled operators can prosper and thrive. As the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands, we’re looking for equally brilliant people to help us on our journey to building a better future.

A key part of building a better future is supporting our Just Add Talent (JAT) operators, ensuring they have the right tools to build their businesses and play an important part in their thriving communities. This would be impossible without gold-star colleagues who care about people, account management and everything we stand for.

There’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye, and right now, we’re looking for a JAT EPOS Coordinator to join our Star Pubs JAT team!

About the role
This is an administrative position within the JAT Operations team, specialising in supporting the EPOS function in the JAT Operations team reporting to the Head of JAT Operations. You’ll be key in providing technical systems support in the updating and ongoing maintenance of data within our EPOS systems and ensuring the successful set up of new JAT sites.

Your core responsibility? Providing operator and field-based colleagues support for the smooth running of our managed pub estate. Being the main triage point for all enquiries, operating with a right first-time approach to issue resolution. Working across multiple stakeholders, coordinating, and assisting with, all centralised activity.

So what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key accountabilities.

·       Ensure accuracy of data entered into the EPOS solution.

·       Administration and the maintenance of EPOS and stock system to ensure correct pricing and delivery schedules

·       Ensure all information is correctly entered and maintained by carrying out regular data housekeeping

·       Ensure the smooth transition of new services or service changes into existing system & processes

·       Providing support for testing of any new services or amends/alterations, before implementation

·       Provide EPOS support to all other JAT departments and operators as required

·       Ensure GDPR compliance

·       Assisting the JAT Banking team with daily back office cash handling processes

·       Assisting the JAT Operations Executives by answering and dealing with telephone enquiries

·       Assisting the JAT Operations Executives by reviewing and responding to emails within SLA

·       Administer JAT EPOS assistance and updates/changes when requested

Who we’re looking for

We need a motivated team player with an aptitude for problem solving, effective multi-tasking and excellent communication skills. To be successful in this role you will bring a passion for delivering a great customer experience, high data input accuracy and ability to multi-task. Strong administration skills are a must!

We’re looking for a systems-savvy problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. You’ll bring a strong understanding of retail systems—ideally with hands-on experience in EPOS platforms like Zonal—and a keen eye for detail when it comes to managing complex product, pricing, and promotional data across a multi-site estate.

You’re confident navigating data and systems, but just as comfortable engaging with colleagues across operations, finance, and supply chain. Your ability to troubleshoot, communicate clearly, and prioritise effectively will make you a go-to expert within the team.

Experience with SAP, Appian, SharePoint, or Power BI is a bonus, but what matters most is your curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn. You’ll be someone who embraces change, champions accuracy, and takes pride in delivering excellent support to your stakeholders.

You’ll also be familiar with working in a way that aligns with GDPR and commercial policy, and you’ll have a proactive approach to training, development, and continuous improvement.

Our Benefits

In addition to your base salary, you’ll also receive:

  • An annual bonus
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
  • Double matched pension (up to 10%)
  • 35 days holiday
  • A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers! (low and no alcohol options available)
  • Exciting opportunities to develop your career

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.

In all likelihood the ideal candidate for this role won’t meet every single requirement in this advert, in fact we all need the opportunity to grow and develop in role.  We understand some applicants are less likely to apply to jobs unless they feel they meet every single qualification.
