We’re searching for an ambitious Head of Procurement to join our team. The successful applicant will play a critical role in helping the business deliver our commercial targets and objectives through business partnering with our Supply Chain, Commercial and Support Functions teams.
About The Role
This senior leadership role is responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring operational performance, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the procurement function.
You will lead a team of 15 professionals to execute the HEINEKEN UK Procurement strategy, collaborating closely with our Global Procurement team in Amsterdam."
You will be responsible for managing a spend of €1 billion
Building strong relationships with the HEINEKEN UK Management Team, HEINEKEN Global Procurement, and cross-functional peers is crucial to your success. You will guide and challenge on both group and locally negotiated contracts.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver annual HEINEKEN UK Procurement financial savings, cash targets, and core objectives
- Own and govern the Purchase to Pay process for HEINEKEN UK
- Lead and implement procurement category strategies, challenging local governance boards and leadership teams to align with them
- Drive transformation in sourcing, supplier management, and procurement technology
- Align procurement activity with HEINEKEN’s sustainability and ethical sourcing commitments under the ‘Brew a Better World’ initiative
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners

Procurement and Leadership experience are mandatory.
If you have;
- Strong stakeholder management skills – able to create and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders;
- Commercial acumen;
- A growth mindset and ability to create strategically aligned plans;
- Evidence of being a strong team player
- MCIPS qualified would be beneficial but not essential.
