The Role
Reporting into the Finance System Manager, this role will get involved in a number of standard month-end financial systems-related processes while simultaneously supporting projects to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and continued enhancement of UK reporting. Additionally, it is expected the individual will help to identify and deliver process improvements as we make the journey towards the Heineken Finance Transformation Project of Digital Back Bone (DBB).

So what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key accountabilities.

  • Provide SME support for larger strategic and operational projects, including DBB.
  • Ensure full alignment and reconciliations between SAP / S/4HANA, FI, and all relevant reporting systems for both Finance and Non Finance Masterdata.
  • Responsible for system structure and accuracy of finance Masterdata.
  • Business partner directly with finance business groups to resolve finance system and master data issues including managing the SAP release cycle

The Candidate
We’re looking for someone who has both finance and systems experience, with a positive and pro-active attitude when it comes to influencing stakeholders and taking on challenges.

You don’t have to have an accountancy qualification for this position, but we do need someone with sound finance knowledge. Ideally, you have previous experience using SAP but are at least “qualified by experience”, this means someone who can confidently take on finance system processes, controls and reconciliations.

If you;

  • Are able to build solid relationships quickly.
  • Are able to adapt your communication style and ensure complex information is broken down into easy-to-understand chunks.
  • Want to play a part in the future finance system  solutions of the organisation.
  • Can work in an agile and fast pace environment.
  • Are up for learning something new!

This could be the role for you!

When applying, we’d love for you to tell us what makes you the right fit for this role. What excites you about this opportunity, and how will it help shape your future career?

As part of the team, along with your salary, you’ll also receive;

  • Discretionary Annual bonus
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
  • Double matched pension (up to 10%)
  • 35 days holiday
  • A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers! (low and no alcohol options available)
  • Comprehensive Opportunities to develop.

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.

Our ways of working
This role is office based, we currently operate a hybrid working framework which allows us to capture the benefits of both working in the office and at home.  For full-time roles, we work a minimum of 3 days in the office – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with Monday and Friday being our work-from-home days.

The office is in a great location with excellent public transport links so it’s really easy to get to whether you’re travelling by train, bus or tram!
