The Role
As External Communications Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing HEINEKEN UK’s reputation through bold and engaging storytelling and smart use of digital channels.
This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll lead the development and delivery of content across our owned social channels (including, but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook) as well as support reputation-building activity like advertorials, speaker opportunities, earned media opportunities (PR) and events.

In a regulated environment like ours, it’s critical that we tell our story clearly and credibly; and that we do it in a way that cuts through. You’ll help us do just that.

- Supporting broader Corporate Affairs activity, including Brand PR where needed
Who we are looking for:
We’re after a digital self-starter who can juggle creative thinking with data-led decision making. You’ll need strong relationship-building skills and a clear understanding of how social and digital channels work, developing compelling stories and how to get results. A degree and relevant qualification in digital marketing, PR/journalism and experience ofdata analytics is preferred.
You’ll bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a digital or social media role
- Strong knowledge of how different platforms work and how to use them effectively
- Experience in social listening and data analytics
- Skill in creating content — including graphics (e.g. Canva) and short-form video
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in working with a range of stakeholders
- Strong planning and organisation skills, with good attention to detail
- Experience managing digital assets and brand content
