Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 base, depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

About the role
This role is part of a small but perfectly formed team responsible for the implementation, support & maintenance of digital systems across HEINEKEN UK but focussing on the Star Pubs systems landscape. You’ll deliver expertise to the UK on the technology platforms needed to support the Star Pubs business, utilising skills and resource and Global and 3rd party teams.
You’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality application solutions are developed and thoroughly tested, supporting their successful implementation and ongoing operation in a production system. As this is a small team, you have an excellent opportunity to get involved in multiple projects, this is a real multi-faceted role with opportunities to work across many aspects of both technology and the business.
So what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key accountabilities.
- Undertake the development and realisation of solution components within sub domain ensuring they are fit for purpose and of appropriate quality on all project engagements.
- Engage and communicate with key user groups through forums and other means to discuss future sub domain/module issues and opportunities, proactively contributing to the ongoing continuous improvement of the area.
- Create and maintain sub domain artifacts ensuring their accuracy and consistency with application functionality.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a technical problem solver with an analytical mind. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform would be preferred, however an understanding or awareness of it is also great!
If you:
- Have a flexible approach and are comfortable in ambiguity.
- Have excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Work effectively with multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Have technical credibility, independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Have 2+ years’ experience completing solution configuration/development.
- Want to learn about a wide range of technologies that support our business

Our ways of working
This role is office based, we currently operate a hybrid working framework which allows us to capture the benefits of both working in the office and at home. For full-time roles, we work a minimum of 3 days in the office – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with Monday and Friday being our work-from-home days.
In May we’ll be moving to a fantastic new office at 6 St Andrew Square – right in the heart of the city centre.
The office is in a great location with excellent public transport links so it’s really easy to get to whether you’re travelling by train, bus or tram!
With a brilliant selection of restaurants, bars, shops and our very own Star Pubs on our doorstep, you’ll be spoilt for choice for extracurricular activities. And if you fancy catch up after hours with your colleagues, our in-house bar with fantastic views of Edinburgh Castle might just be the spot for you!
