Commercial Optimisation Manager to join our On Trade sales team today!

About the role
As Digital Commercial Optimisation Manager, you work within the UK E-business team to deliver and optimise the cross-sell and upsell of products and services on our e-commerce sites. 


You’ll drive increased average order value, basket size and our NPS score by securing commercially competitive promotions for our On Trade direct customers. You will support the delivery of sales and customer satisfaction targets by testing new promotional ideas and scaling positive results to continuously improve all elements of the customer purchasing experience on our e-commerce sites. You’ll work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure HUK customers are offered best in-market promotions.
 

In addition to managing our online promotions, a main focus of yours will be working with our multiple customer groups to create and optimise campaigns that increase average order value through category cross-sell.

 

Although the role isn’t customer-facing, we do want you to think like a customer, so spending time with the stakeholders who know them best will be key.

 

So, what will you be doing? Here are some key accountabilities;

  • Participate in ongoing AB testing to continually optimise the online promotion experience for our customers
  • Use data to understand and drive improvements for our customers and stakeholders
  • Responsible for coordinating the promotional activity on our On Trade B2B e-commerce website “Eazle” to drive growth through cross-selling and upselling on the sites
  • Translate the trade plans and goals determined by the revenue management and buying teams into campaigns, promotions and recommendations.
  • Advise and execute the innovation and experimentation plans to seek data to support scalable sales driving activity across the sites
  • Build online activations, new product introductions and promotional redemptions personalised to the customer
  • Collaborate actively with the Digital Marketing Optimisation Manager and the CXO Managers on sales-driving activity
  • Understand the current functionality used on eazle and challenge yourself to become a Subject Matter Expert working with our technology partners to drive improvements and efficiencies


Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with digital savvy and an eagerness to learn. Most importantly you’ll need to be fully customer-centric, our customers should be at the heart of every decision you make. 


If you have;

  • Experience in a sales, marketing or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong commercial capability.
  • Solid attention to detail.
  • Confidence in working with external agencies or vendors.
  • Experience in managing relationships, and an aptitude for working in an agile 'test and learn' environment.
  • Great stakeholder management skills.
