Strategic Business Controller
Your Mission:
The Strategic Business Controller is the key player in the Strategic Business Control team and works in close cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders(s) on strategically important areas for SCC.
Strategic Business Controller operates at the local level and reports to the Strategic & Commerce Business control Manager and is the direct Business Partner to the Finance director and rest of Management team on specific topics related to strategic business topics.
Be the challenging Business Partner for the respective Management Team members and through good understanding of the macroeconomic business context and understanding, lead effective decision making in order to drive sustainable and profitable top-line growth and cost efficiency for Sociedad Central de Cervejas e Bebidas (SCC Portugal)

Your Responsibilities:
- Maximise long term sustainable business performance by identifying strategic business development opportunities, supporting decision making of internal stakeholders both at the OpCo level & Globally based on the value of these opportunites
- Proactively works with Finance Director to identify, analyse and exploit Strategic business opportunities for the OpCo, and provide financial leadership on (strategic) projects. To do so job holder has a high level of business understanding and builds and maintains relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Developing the capabilities of the rest of team members, providing business insights rather than data and providing scenario modelling analyses.
- Provide advice, guidance, and influence/strengthen decision making for the support areas of the company
- Leading analyses to provide the financial impact of decisions, creating cost and efficiency analyses and leading ad hoc analysis to gain insight where relevant.
- Lead role in the business planning cycle for the 1 to 3-year Strategic Annual Plans, Operational Plans and Rolling forecasts including providing relevant challenge to relevant stakeholders.
- Drive change programs in terms of new digital tooling and be a key point of contact for projects with the HEINEKEN Central Analytics team and other potential external parties for implementing tooling such as predictive analytics.
We want you to bring:
- Degree and / Or Master’s in management, Economics, Accounting , Corporate Finance
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Business Controller or Accounting mandatory
- More than 5 Years of relevant experience preferably in international companies
- Experienced working in multinational company with a proven track record for career growth
- Ability to understand complex business processes in order to support insights generation
- Experience with automated systems and affinity with IT ( e.g Power BI, SAP)
- English (mandatory);
- Portuguese (fluent or native)
- Spanish (fluent or native)
- Ability to relate and influence.

- Availability to travel national and international.
- Hold the legal documents required for the provision of subordinate labour in Portugal at the time of application (exclusion factor).
