Your mission: Study, prepare, develop, implement and commission investment projects in the brewery and water plant, according with the Company, Group’s policies and strategic objectives of Quality, Environment and Safety defined in order to ensure efficiency and performance optimization at the agreed service level.

 

Location: Vialonga

 

Your responsabilities:

  • As part of the preparation of the 3 years investment plan, prepare conceptual studies or basic engineering projects for investments above 500k€, delivering the project data book, including a cost & benefit analysis;
  • Prepare budget estimates for small investment projects, based on supplier information or previous projects;
  • Enforce the Company Safety Policy during project development, tendering, detailed engineering, implementation and commissioning phase;
  • Identify alternative suppliers/contractors for each project and analyze supplier proposals / quotations, together with the Purchasing area, and recommend the best alternative from a technical and economical point of view;
  • Ensure sufficient resources are assigned to the project;
  • Approve and coordinate detailed engineering tasks developed by external contractors and/or internal resources for projects under his responsibility;
  • Supervise contractors during implementation and commissioning phases and approve change order, when required;
  • Control budget and timing of projects under his responsibility, below 1M€, and define actions in case of deviation;
  • Manage, together with the brewery and water plant team, the operational set-up team and project team, to ensure completion of all relevant milestones in the project (Manufacturing Inspections, Installation completed, O&M handing over, SAT execution, Plant handing over);
  • Collaboration with other areas of Operations, R&I team and suppliers in investment projects;
  • Ensure final evaluation of each project and suppliers (budget, timing, achievement of the objectives, supplier performance, safety and environment, other factors);
  • Prepare the training plan for each project, together with the People Development TPM pillar.

 

 

We want you to bring:

  • Bachelor or Graduation in Engineering (mandatory);
  • Minimum professional experience of 5 years;
  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry in the engineering department in, at least, one of the following process areas: process industry, packaging, utilities;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English;
  • Strong knowledge of the engineering development phases and methodology;
  • Experience in tender preparation and supplier selection;
  • Preferentially experience in the beverage industry;
  • Good communication skills.
