Packaging Quality Specialist

Your mission:

 European Shared Support Quality&Technology Hub South is looking for a Packaging Quality Specialist.

You will support breweries and OpCo’s in packaging materials and packaging processes to achieve world class level quality and performance.

Location: Vialonga

Your Responsibilities:

• support the implementation of food safety and quality standards in respective breweries;
• Interacts with suppliers and other functions to ensure compliance and high performance of packaging materials
• plan, coordinate and executes packaging materials suppliers’ audits;
• support trouble shooting and process optimization in packaging (FTR, OWPM loss, CIP processes, etc);
• contribute to DSV and platforming projects and their implementation;
• Support continuous improvement in packaging by building and implement strategy for change from product to process control in respective breweries;
• identify and drive NPIs/CVE/DSV through in-depth analysis of process, technology, packaging materials at brewery level;
• support production and engineering (maintenance) within packing department to maintain a stable process & proper conditions by linking quality defects to Q-factors.
• To promote the quality vision which is E2E and consumer oriented (as formulated by the World Class Quality Leader).
• support capabilities development in packaging knowledge in South Cluster perimeter and beyond
• support breweries to be prepared for future technologies
• change from product to process control in respective breweries, integrating agile and digital tools.

We want you to bring:

• Degree and / Or Master in Engineering or food engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality and Packaging
• Strong knowledge and experience in FMCG companies using HACCP standards
• Excellent cross-functional and international communication skills
• Good communication skills
• Portuguese (Fluent)
• English (minimum B2)

• Project Management skills
• Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Microsoft office tools
• Availability to travel 20% of the time
• Have the necessary documentation to provide subordinate work in Portugal at the time of application (elimination factor)
