Meet the most representative Milestones in the History of Heineken Panamá. Since its inception, its beginnings as a compact, simple and efficient brewery that had a maximum capacity of 10,000 hectoliters of production per year. ​

There have been many achievements since then and we continue working to cultivate many more.

1959

 

Start operation in David, Chiriquí with 24 employees and introducing Cristal & Panamá.

 

 

1969

 

We are innovating since 1969, when we introduced new products: Soberana, Super Malta and Malta del Baru

1978

 

We made history in Panama by being the first to use aluminum cans for beer Panama.

1985

 

Alliance with Arthur Guinness Son & Company, to be the first to produce an international beer, locally.

1987

 

Cerveza Panama becomes the first Panamanian beer to be exported to the United States.

2002

 

Cervecerias Baru Panama becomes part of the Heineken Group.

2018

 

Cerveza Panama gets the Monde Selection Gold Award for the seventh time.

 

2020

We changed our name from Cervecerias Barú Panamá to HEINEKEN Panamá
