PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The Project Management Officer (PMO) will support the DBB Transition Manager to administer and operate within different project management areas and manage people to deliver the scheduled and on-demand tasks on time, scope and budget based on the DBB Transition Toolkit.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • An Honour's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Economics, etc); a Master's degree being advantageous
  • Project Management Accreditation (ie Prince2)
  • 5 – 8 years demonstrated experience in Project Management, exposure to cross-functional and complex environments 
  • MS Office proficient (MS Office systems)
  • Experience in business transformation, preferably concerning the introduction of technology will be advantageous

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Collaborate in the timeline creation, sprints and tracking of the implementation progress.
  • Align on the standard project management methodology.
  • Keep track of actions, plans, budget, quality standards, deliverables and dependencies based on standard DBB progress tracking.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Team to assure timelines and deliverables are being achieved.
  • Raise concerns and risks and if needed, set up a plan to mitigate.
  • Assure the Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology is in place.
  • Assure the ways of working of the Workstreams and status report.
