Title:  Internal Audit Manager

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  

 

To support the Manager: P&CI in running the P&CI Function as a trusted partner for local Management and Functions in achieving business objectives, driving and implementing improvements in the organisation’s processes and strengthening the internal control environment. The P&CI function is the custodian of the HEINEKEN Internal Control Framework and the HEINEKEN Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Framework in NBL.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of financial tertiary qualification CA or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Six Sigma qualification will be an added advantage
  • At least 6 to 12 years of experience; with Business experience in a line manager role considered an advantage
  • Extensive experience within internal audit of international companies, including experience of operational audit will be advantageous
  • MS Office proficient (MS Office systems)
  • Preferred operational experience (shopfloor)
  • Roles and authorization exposure will be advantageous
  • A valid driver’s license

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Facilitate fraud investigations when requested by Local Management, Global Legal Affairs or Global Audit.
  • Drawing up the annual audit plan.
  • Maintain and update the internal audit tracker and ensure auditees provide all supporting documents timeously to close out audit issues.
  • Support Board Audit and Risk Meetings.
  • Provide effective support to Global Audits - Global Functions.
  • Lead other P&CI responsibility areas for the related Functions.
  • Willingness to travel.
