Title:  Customer Representative: Ruacana

PURPOSE

To positively influence sales volumes of Namibia Breweries Limited’s (NBL) brands by regular contact, networking, and motivation with customers in allocated areas. Furthermore, support the Sponsorships & Events department as well as the distribution value chain in the allocated area.  This role will also be responsible for identifying any possible commercial opportunities for NBL in the allocated area.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Diploma in Sales/Marketing

  • Minimum 3 years’ Sales/Marketing experience.

  • Valid code B/BE driver’s license.

  • Experience in FMCG sales will be a definite advantage.

  • Indigenous language will be an added advantage.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Call on formal, informal, and off-consumption outlets in the designated area.

  • Selling and promoting the Company’s portfolio of products

  • Achieve distribution, forward share, and promotional targets for the area.

  • Implement the market segmentation policy.

  • Control and correct use of ROI and POS material.

  • Execute all promotions in line with the national/ regional plan.

  • Build and maintain budget and other administrative functions.

  • Take responsibility for own and team objectives, incorporating the NBL values.

  • Establish winning trading relationships.

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, internally and externally.

  • Support the Sales Manager as and when required.
