Title:  Draught Technician/Customer Representative (Hybrid): Karas

PURPOSE

This role is responsible for increasing sales for Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) by maintaining regular contact, networking, and motivation with customers in the allocated area. The incumbent is responsible for executing all installation, maintenance, and service-related tasks of draught installations. Furthermore, this role requires identifying potential commercial opportunities for NBL in the designated area.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Diploma in Sales/Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales/marketing experience.
  • Experience in the installation of Draught beer equipment or similar equipment
  • Valid code B/BE driver’s license.
  • Experience in FMCG sales will be a definite advantage.
  • Indigenous language will be an added advantage.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide Draught on tap services including installation and maintenance of draught units.
  • Manage and coordinate DOT bookings for events.
  • Provide Customer Service
  • Asset Care
  • Call on formal, informal, and off-consumption outlets in the designated areas.
  • Selling and promoting the Company’s portfolio of products
  • Achieve distribution, forward share, and promotional targets for the area.
  • Implement the market segmentation policy.
  • Control and correct use of ROI and POS material.
  • Execute all promotions in line with the national/ regional plan.
  • Build and maintain budget and other administrative functions.
  • Take responsibility for own and team objectives, incorporating the NBL values.
  • Establish winning trading relationships.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, internally and externally.
  • Support the Sales Manager as and when required.

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the cleaning and maintenance of draught installations.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and manage work, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Asset Management: Responsible for the proper use, care and maintenance of company assets (vehicle, mobile phone, DOT equipment).
  • Sales Execution: Ability to execute and maintain sales engagements in accordance with NBL standards in the trade to achieve budget sales targets.
