The Internship

As a Global Procurement Compliance Intern you will support the Global Procurement Compliance agenda within HEINEKEN. You will work closely with the Procurement Compliance Manager and a diverse global stakeholder group to strengthen governance, support Third‑Party Risk Management (including GreenShield), and contribute to clear and reliable compliance reporting.

During your internship, you will gain hands‑on experience in global procurement governance, procurement compliance, and Cross‑Operating company collaboration. We give you trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur-always with the right guidance.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Support monthly procurement compliance reporting and KPI data accuracy.
  • Support in Creating Global Procurement Policies as per Heineken Global Standards.
  • Drive the Key Strategic Procurement Initiative with the Operating companies and track their progress
  • Assist with Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities, including tracking, coordination, and follow‑ups with Operating Companies.
  • Transform supplier master data into a structured, business-friendly format to support compliance requirements.
  • Support documentation, record‑keeping, and audit‑readiness activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends, gaps, or insights in compliance data.

  • You are proactive, curious, and not afraid of complex challenges.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
  3. You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

 

Our Internship Conditions

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:

  • A full-time internship, starting on September 1, 2026
  • The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
  • Your home office will be located in  Schiphol , Amsterdam
  • At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
  • You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek
  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
