Job Title: Digital and Communications Manager (JG 15)

Reports to: On Trade Channel Manager
Location: Dublin

Job Purpose:


Shape how we communicate externally with customers and internally with our sales force to build great collaborative business relationships and grow our NPS. Support the prioritization of initiatives through effective management of the On Trade Channel Calendar. Drive innovation in our digital solutions to leverage digital technology to the maximum and solidify our position as the preferred drinks supplier to the on-trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Calendar Management:
    • Oversee the execution of our On Trade Channel Calendar.
    • Ensure effective communication of priorities with Brand and Sales Teams.
    • Consult with Brand Teams to ensure that activations deliver on relevant consumer and customer drivers.
  • Digital Strategy Development:
    • Shape the On Trade digital strategy.
    • Collaborate closely with Marketing, external agencies, and the global network to support on-trade plans.
    • Unlock digital opportunities and take a leadership role in innovation around next-generation digital technology.
  • Digital Asset Innovation:
    • Drive innovation in our digital assets.
    • Manage our digital asset network in collaboration with Brand Teams and agency partners.
    • Create and curate impactful content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Direct to Customer Communications:
    • Manage direct-to-customer brand communications through our B2B platform eazle and content hub.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Bar Staff Advocacy Platform:
    • Evolve and shape our bar staff advocacy platform, BarStar.
    • Ensure the platform effectively supports bar staff and enhances their engagement with our brands.
  • Heineken® Ahhh-cademy Management:
    • Lead the delivery of the Heineken® Ahhh-cademy, a comprehensive 360-degree bar staff training program.
  • Brand Channel Management:
    • Lead the channel management of select brands within the HEINEKEN portfolio.
    • Work with brand teams to deliver excellent execution in trade.
    • Establish and monitor KPIs, sharing learnings to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a commercial or marketing-related role
  • Experience in B2B communications and project management is a plus.
  • Team player with the ability to lead projects and make decisions based on insight and experience.
  • Creative thinker with strong idea generation and problem-solving skills.
  • Curious about customers, competition, and alternative solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish On Trade sector.
  • Recent experience in a Digital Marketing B2C or B2B position.
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience in Google Analytics and content management.
  • Demonstrates HEINEKEN Leadership behaviours, with strengths in Shape and Deliver.
