Munkakör:  Category and Customer Analyst

In this role, you’ll develop and implement category strategies, optimize assortments across channels, create planograms and merchandising standards, and lead customer range reviews to drive growth. You’ll analyze shopper trends and market data to provide actionable insights. Additionally, you’ll monitor trade terms and identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement. You will be part of the RMG team within Sales, reporting to the Revenue Manager.

Your role responsibilities:

  • Provide assortment recommendations based on shopper trends and insights
  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives 
  • Lead customer range reviews and create channel-specific strategies
  • Support customer negotiations with actionable shopper and category insights
  • Optimize assortment on channel level 
  • Generate and analyze reports using Dunnhumby, Nielsen, Das System, Retail Zoom and other data sources
  • Monitor market trends and shopper behavior to inform decision-making
  • Create and maintain shelf planograms using Nielsen Plano Tool
  • Establish and enforce cooler and merchandising standards across channels
  • Monitor trade terms framework in alignment with commercial strategy
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 2 years in category management and/or merchandising standards creation within FMCG 
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills 
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills 
  • Thorough knowledge of Nielsen, Dunnhumby, Das System analytics 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority 
  • Ability to persuade stakeholders and drive alignment on category strategies using data and insights
  • Fluency both in English and in Hungarian is a must
  • Driving license
