We’re looking for an ambitious Brand Manager to shape the future of Soproni, one of Hungary’s most iconic and beloved brands. You’ll lead brand strategy, inspire creativity, and drive innovation to ensure Soproni continues to grow and connect with consumers in meaningful ways.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Soproni’s brand strategy and annual planning — define where the brand should go, translate strategy into actionable marketing plans, and allocate budgets effectively in order to drive growth (brand equity, market share).
- Build impactful communication and activations — collaborate with agency partners to develop legendary campaigns and media plans that engage our target audience and strengthen brand love.
- Drive innovation — identify growth opportunities, lead new product and packaging development, and bring fresh ideas from concept to launch.
- Champion brand consistency — ensure Soproni’s identity, tone, and presence are simple, distinctive, and aligned across every consumer touchpoint to drive impact.
- Monitor performance and market trends — analyse brand results, competitor activities, and market data to uncover insights and guide future decisions.
- Collaborate across teams — work closely with trade marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance to deliver seamless brand execution and impactful go-to-market activities.
- Manage financial performance — oversee the brand P&L, track KPIs, and recommend actions to optimise profitability and efficiency.
- Lead projects with precision — plan, coordinate, and execute brand initiatives on time and in full, ensuring every activity contributes to Soproni’s long-term success.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG brand building
- Fluent English (spoken and written) and strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Personal qualities:
- Consumer- and shopper-focused mindset
- Curious, open to learn, and entrepreneurial in spirit
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills
- Excellent planning and project management
