Corporate Affairs Intern (Public Affairs & Sustainability)
Overview:
We seek an enthusiastic and proactive intern, full of creative ideas, to join our regional Corporate Affairs (CA) team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in public affairs and sustainability who wants to gain experience in these areas, whilst gaining broader exposure to the full breadth of Corporate Affairs. The intern will gain insights into the inner workings of a dynamic regional team that advises and supports 22 markets across Asia-Pacific. The role is divided into approximately 70% public affairs and 30% sustainability and communications.
Key responsibilities:
Public Affairs (70%)

Conduct research and provide support for our Public Affairs agenda work, including policy, advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

Track and analyse public policy developments relevant to our organisation.

Support the execution of integrated communications initiatives to strengthen HEINEKEN’s reputation with public stakeholders.
Sustainability and Communications (30%)

Understand our sustainability agenda, Brew A Better World, and collaborate with stakeholders to support delivering our sustainability goals.

Coordinate reporting, governance meetings and sustainability activities across the region.

Support the delivery of sustainability communications across internal and external channels.
As a Corporate Affairs intern, you will receive exposure to strategic content creation, corporate and brand communications, and digital media as part of our multidisciplinary team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a diploma/degree in business, political science, sociology, marketing, economics, or other relevant fields with an interest in corporate communications, sustainability, or public affairs.

Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred.

Ability to commit to a 6-month internship.
