APAC Agile Lead

As the Agile Lead you are setting up the regional Agile Competency Centre at HEINEKEN in Singapore. From here, you will roll-out the HEINEKEN Agile-way-of-working in the Operating Companies (OpCos) in the region, supported by Agile Consultants or local Scrum Masters. Having been an Agile Coach yourself, you know the ideal conditions for enabling successful and effective Agile ways of working and all that comes with it. With this insight and experience, you organize and oversee the realization of effective product teams. You drive a unified approach for agile ways of working, making sure we regionally hire the right talented Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches and you are also drafting the best-practice coaching materials. The Agile lead provides training, coaching and facilitations for the Regional Management team ceremonies and works closely with the Senior Leaders of the Region to enable their Agile transformation.

You’re the ambassador for the Agile Way of Working in the Region and helps Scrum Master’s, Product Owners and Team Members with the functionality, productivity and improvement of the Product Team. 

Key Responsibilities:


Agile practices
•    Lead the desired culture change to create a maximum performance in every respect. 
•    Provide training, coaching and facilitations for the Regional Management team ceremonies and works closely with the Senior Leaders of the Region to enable their Agile       transformation.
•    Train local Management Teams in the OpCos and coach them on a consistent and proper application of the Agile way of working;
•    Point out bottlenecks in the way of working implementation and coaches on how to improve in order to increase their effectiveness;
•    Ensure the prerequisites for an Agile Competency Centre are in place (people, processes, communication, etc)
•    Design, build and maintain the training and best practices for Scrum Masters and Agile Consultants with their Product teams and stakeholders
•    Arranges cohesion and overview between activities that is divided over multiple teams in the portfolio.

Growing the profession
•    Perform in an active coaching role for the implementation of the Agile way of working with the Regional Management Team of HEINEKEN in APAC
•    Using techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation; 
•    Embodying the Agile principles and lead by example;
•    Shares experiences and new agile developments within the region and create a community to share knowledge on Agile Implementation


•    Master’s degree in relevant field of study
•    Scrum Coach certification or Scrum Master certification
•    Have solid experience as an Agile Coach involved in large-scale Agile transformations
•    Be a practitioner of “servant leadership” with a mission to support all stakeholders in achieving their goal

Do you have?

•    More than 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach. Further, several years of experience in an IT environment;
•    Excellent coaching skills: listening, motivating, observing;
•    Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing);
•    Collaborate, show courage, take responsibility, has trust, speaks up, is creative and is driven to simplify;
•    Strong knowledge of Agile rules and practices and able to 
     teach others;
•    Proven training-, coaching—and change management experience;
•    Tech savvy
•    Independent and authentic
