Right now, we are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Specialist to join our Supply Chain function in Patras Brewery.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitors, inspects and proposes measures to correct or improve final products and processes to meet established quality standards.
  • Implements quality assurance standards, GMP guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Establishes / reviews quality assurance policies, procedures, instructions, and maintain and improve QMS.
  • Participates or/and reviews risk analysis (HACCP, Food defense, Food Fraud).
  • Conducts continuous inspections on floor checking the status of facilities, equipment, utilities, processes, and corresponding documentation.
  • Monitors KPIs and process measurements for the Quality Control department.
  • Participates in Audits performed by certification bodies and national organizations.
  • Oversees maintenance and calibration of Quality Control instruments.
  • Trains/Supports employees on quality activities to be carried out during production.
  • Participates in investigation procedure, supports root cause analysis and ensures continuous improvement with a problem-solving approach and by following up on tasks and achievements.
  • Reports any non-conformances or deficiencies to the Quality Assurance Manager and coordinates corrective actions.
  • Follows up on defects until their complete resolution.
  • Trains/Supports employees on quality activities to be carried out during production.

 

Candidate Profile:

 

 

  • University degree at a related science field (Chemical /Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering). Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
  • Min 1-2 years experience in quality control department.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, oral and written.
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good knowledge of ISO, FSSC and GMP standards.
  • Problem solving skills with analytical thinking.
  • Flexibility and strong time management skills.
