Right now, we are looking for a passionate Sponsorships & Events Activation Manager to join our Sponsorships & Events Team in Athens who is responsible for developing and/or coordinating events, sponsorships, promotions, and experiential activations. This includes collaborating with various external and internal stakeholders, such as event organizers, event agencies, brand teams, PR, trade marketing and sales teams.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Plan, lead and execute a wide range of internal and external events, ensuring excellence in execution and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and leadership in the development of external and internal events & activations, such as brand-owned events, customer events, Expos, internal conferences, employees events.
  • Scout out sponsorship & events opportunities within a range of categories and find business opportunities.
  • Create organizational alignment and commitment to effectively roll out the planned activities across all functions.
  • Support the Brand teams in developing sponsorships related to 360 campaigns.
  • Provide direction on budget allocation per brand and sponsorship/event category.
  • Create, expand, and accelerate sales opportunities through event marketing execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with various external stakeholders for delivering solid results.
  • Prepare reports as needed on a regular & ad hoc basis (e.g. quarterly performance reports, new trends).

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. (A master’s degree or professional certifications in marketing or Business would be an advantage).
  • 3-5 years in relevant working experience in sponsorships/events and/or marketing and/or public relations preferably within the FMCG industry or Advertising/BTL agencies.
  • Experience in managing commercial sponsorship/partner relationships will be considered as an asset.
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office especially Excel, PowerPoint. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English.
  • Strong communication skills, collaboration in cross-functional teams, highly organized and able to drive the agenda and manage diverse stakeholders.

  • Time management, organizational & attention to detail skills.
  • Flexibility & Innovative thinking, creativity, and fresh ideas.
