Safety, Health & Environment Manager (m/f/o)

 

Place of work: Karlovac / Remote work

 

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

• Developing and delivering the SHE strategy with a strong focus on safety culture and behaviour
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety and environment legislation, EU guidelines and company policy
• Periodical reporting both internally and to local authorities
• Performing inspections, risk assessments and developing associated road maps based on the observed gaps
• Preparing and monitoring the SHE budget
• Ensuring training of employees, managers and contractors
• Coordinating and developing the SHE team
• Collaborating and building relationships at all levels of the organisation 
 
Required:
 
•Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the production/manufacturing industry, preferably FMCG
•Knowledge of relevant legislation will be highly regarded
•University degree in a relevant field
•Previous team management experience and strong leadership capabilities
•Comfortable working in an ambiguous and high-pressure environment
•Excellent command of the English language
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office
•Driving license category B
