Global Commerce Innovation – Drinkies by Heineken eCommerce Internship

 

Are you a bachelor or graduate student, passionate about eCommerce and looking for an experience in a large multinational?

 

Your contribution as intern is essential to the mission of Global Commerce Innovation (GCI) to develop and scale up our new direct to consumer business model in The Netherlands. GCI initiated Drinkies by Heineken across various markets, including Netherlands/Amsterdam where this new delivery service started in May 2018 and gained great traction in the last months.

 

In this role:

  • You improve and execute the day-to-day customer care operations of our new Drinkies drinks delivery service in Netherlands/Amsterdam, working in the Heineken Netherlands operating company.
  • You will help to setup a professional customer service including (IT)tooling, standard operation processes and manage our third party customer service provider.
  • You will setup customer service reporting & dashboarding to measure our customer service effectiveness, efficiency and happiness. Including analysis and providing insights leading to follow-up actions for the Drinkies team.
  • You will learn what it takes to focus 100% on customer satisfaction, and what is involved to scale up a new business inside a large multinational company, learning from a passionate and experienced team.

 

The internship is based in Amsterdam (Heineken International) and Zoeterwoude (Heineken Netherlands) and directly available for the duration of minimal 6 months.

 

Please note that all interns must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship. You will need to provide a proof of enrolment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.


Your responsibilities

In this internship you will be responsible for:

  • Operational excellence of Customer Service – you will be improving and executing Customer service while working closely with our customer service provider to ensure that our consumers are supported with any issue they might experience.
  • Keeping close track on day-to-day operations, delivery times and customer satisfaction, and fixing operational issues and resolve with customers when needed.
  • Implementing improvement projects

 

Your profile

You are a student in a relevant field of study and you have the following:

  • Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
  • Exceptional team player capability and eagerness to learn, share knowledge
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English: written, spoken and interpersonal
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, pragmatic approach with a can-do mentality
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with analysing and improving processes. Excel & PowerPoint experience needed.
