Title:  Trade Marketing Manager (eBusiness)

Job Description:

Planning & Briefing

  • Serve as a focal point for the creation of customer-focused channel marketing programs consistent with brand management’s overall strategies and approved trade budget
  • Define, build and implement channel strategy, plans and programs together with Brands and Sales based on Customers/Consumers/Shopper/Category understanding
  • Guide and manage trade visibility to ensure consistency and relevancy within channel

Operations: Execution & Evaluation

  • Manage all activities and brief the relevant teams to deliver desired results on time and within budget
  • Drive successful internal and customer coordination and implementation of marketing materials, e.g. on-site visibility, premiums, sales refresher
  • Monitor the progress of the promotion and implementation across the channel segments
  • Review the process and post evaluation of activities and creates new ways of working to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of future promotions
  • Measure and calculate ROI for the activity

Requirements:

  1. Clear understanding of the business to be able to focus on core issues and develop sales strategies.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the industry, competitor movements, and customers’ value chain and business practices to exploit all available business opportunities.
  3. Skill in examining and reengineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and impacts, and/or projections.
  4. Excellent communicator who can handle difficult business situations well, and represent the sales organization both inside and outside the organization in a professional and ethical manner.
  5. Ability to demonstrate energy, sense of urgency, focus and follow through that deliver high quality results.
