Title:  Sales Support Manager

The incumbent will lead the Sales Support team and work closely with Channel Managers to support all aspects of Sales administration, primarily to: manage company’s customer database, sales admin process review and compliance based on Heineken global requirement, process purchase orders, data collection, report and analysis and information on markets, customers, sales efficiency, and competitors.

As a people Manager, the incumbent shall be a role model to the team and be able to inspire, motivate and look into performance management and development.

The incumbent shall have experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic fast-paced environment. He/She will be well versed in all Microsoft programs including excel, power point, and word etc.

  1. Manage overall Sales database and internal sales admin processes including outlet master, contractual agreement, assets tracking, Integrated commercial system, POSM and gratis, product creation, call plan, sales incentive, RSEM/PICOS, etc
  2. Owns Sales systems including OMS, CMF, CMS, DIS, RSEM, Sales portal & order processing, etc.
  3. Lead a team of sales administrators, motivate and develop them, and ensure good service level rendered to internal customers. 
  4. Based on team’s workload allocation, attend to a variety of administrative details such as keeping informed of sales activities and promotions, new product availability in the system, transmitting information, implementing and interpreting policies and procedures, and monitoring day-to-day operations of the functional area to which assigned.
  5. Based on internal database, provide analysis and insights on markets, customers, competitors and the like. Be able to present trends and patterns and be able to make recommendations to respective Business managers to aid them in making decisions relating to the internal data.
  6. Owns Sales admin related policies and ensure timely review to maintain effectiveness and efficiency. Partner closely with cross functional colleagues to review policies and processes when necessary. Communicate any changes when necessary.
  7. Ensure accurate capture of information and endorsement of Customer Maintenance Forms
  8. Maintain an accurate and complete record keeping and document management system in a systematic manner to ensure efficient retrieval of information.

Qualifications

  • Min Diploma in any discipline
  • Experience in sales support role, leading a team for a sizable FMCG business

  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven People Manager skills - Persuasive, encouraging and motivating
  • Ability to Multi-task, manage multiple objectives, analyze data, and accept challenging objectives
  • Detailed understanding of networking and possess excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs; knowledge of Excel extremely important in order to create pivot tables and generate user-friendly reports for the sales team.
  • Comfortable working with multiple levels of external and internal organizations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary to interact with external clients and internal management team
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
