Title:  Business Analyst

PURPOSE

Reporting to the Commercial Business Controller, incumbent is responsible for the business partnering functions with Commercial (Marketing and Trade Marketing), On-Trade and Off-Trade Channels (Sales) with added responsibility to support budget and strategic planning that is submitted to APAC Region and Heineken Global Company.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Business partner for the Commercial Function (Marketing and Trade Marketing) tracking spend and providing budget preparation advise
  2. Support theTrade and Off-Trade Channels (Sales) with trade term/contract negotiations and promotional budget preparation
  3. Added responsibility to support budget and strategic planning that is submitted to APAC Region and Heineken Global Company. Preparing brand volume splits per channel, estimating revenue developments and assist with assumptions for cost trends. On monthly basis analyse actuals compared to budget and latest estimates.
  4. Monitor the business activities (commercial teams’ cycle plan) and provide analysis as required.
  5. Responsible for review and analysis of management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (prepared by the central operations team) for use in managerial decision-making.
  6. Provide analytical support to the responsible functional areas by identifying informational needs and create actionable reports that make recommendations based on the results of the analysis.
  7. Develop analytical plans and ad-hoc analyses to support the short-term tactical as well as long-term strategic initiatives.
  8. Integrate analysis results that leverage across relevant functions including marketing research, sales operations, finance and forecasting.
  9. Product pricing and profitability analysis in close cooperation with the Revenue Management Function.
  10. Commercial spending controllership in the responsible functional areas.
  11. Review of commercial projects via CPS system. Provide analysis and recommendation to the responsible functional areas on the profitability and commercial feasibility.
  12. Perform new product feasibility and submission of Business Case studies to Group Commercial.
  13. Review of commercial contracts submitted via CMS system. Provide analysis and recommendation to the responsible functional areas on the profitability and commercial feasibility.
  14. Overall commercial responsibility for assigned brands and/or channels including planning and management reporting.
  15. Perform related duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENT

Minimum 2 years of experience in auditing, management accounting/reporting, budgeting. Auditor experiences is a plus.

Proficient at working with statistics and market research insights
