Title: Assistant Sales Officer
Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintain ownership and responsibility for sales performance and customer engagement across Super/Hypermarkets, Convenience Stores and Petrol Marts within the area coverage to promote sales
- Engaging and building rapport with store-level managers and team leaders in Super/Hypermarkets
- Prompt store staff to order APBS products to ensure healthy stock levels in-store
2.Deliver excellent merchandising standards for APBS portfolio of brands within these stores including but not limited to:
- Replenish stocks on home bays and secondary touchpoints for APBS portfolio and ensuring proper first-in, first-out rotation
- Ensure correct pricing (regular and promotional) with correct shelf labels at all times
- Secure and execute winning touchpoints in-store
- Merchandise primary (home bay) and secondary displays according to internal guidelines and priorities
- Maintain cleanliness of APBS portfolio of products in-store
3. Monitor market and competitor activities with active reporting to line manager to identify opportunities to drive sales and promotional activities
Key skills/ experience:
- Experience in merchandising and execution of home bay and secondary touchpoints in Modern off-trade stores
- Experience handling store managers or ownership of direct sales results and area coverage of stores
- Positive and open mindset, able to work independently and take accountability
