Title:  Technology Specialist

 

Scope of the role

 

 

Role purpose:

This role is part of the Global Information Services (GIS, Global IT) department of HEINEKEN International. The Technology specialist is part of Product team – Data LifeCycle Platform and is one of the professionals who do the work of delivering a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint. Product Teams are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. The resulting synergy optimizes the Product Team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

The Technology Specialist supports the Product Owner in translating product needs and requirements into deliverable units of work—Epics/Features/Stories. He/she will work with the Product Team and partners to ensure end-product meets business requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Specialist:

  • Looking at the strategy of your own product’s features with business stakeholders and further elicit requirements, proposed improvements and deliver deployments.
  • Ensuring support, maintenance, continuous improvement through Partners and/or Service management.
  • Ensuring optimum performance, availability and security in accordance with security standards and policy.
  • Builds relationships and a key-user network with different Operating Companies and Global Heineken Functions to elicit feedback and derive actionable improvements, proactively communicate, educate, increase understanding and alignment of the product and its processes.
  • Interacts frequently with the security consultants of Programs and Projects to align and deliver initiatives.
  • Works with and supports the Product Owner to understand, facilitate the gathering, definition and prioritization of requirements working towards delivering the strategic goal of the product.
  • Contribute collectively to the Product team in delivering user stories and contributing to the product increment and provide advice to offshore team.
  • Is continuously aware of the security requirements of Heineken and ensures that all ongoing improvements are aligned with these requirements
     

 

 

 

Position profile

You are a good candidate if

  • You have 3-5 years of Experience in Data Governance and Data Governance Systems (preferably in Collibra) and Tools
  • Demonstratable working experience of about 5 years in software engineering area, as a e.g. full-stack developer, DevOps engineer. Technical lead experience will be a definite advantage.
  • Agile mindset and working experience in Agile delivery, Scrum experience is plus. You show end-to-end ownership of work that you do.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience

 

Required (MUST)

  • Deep understanding of the SAP system refreshes
  • Must have done Refreshes on the complex landscape
  • One full lifecycle implementation of SAP archiving
  • High level knowledge on SAP Data scrambling
  • Good knowledge on the SAP Basis
  • Deep understanding of SAP TMS

 

 

Preferable:

  • Knowledge of EPI Use
  • Knowledge of Datprof
  • Knowledge of Symphony for SAP
  • Knowledge on GDPR
  • Knowledge on JDE and Navision

 

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people.
  • Being a business and technical consultant that is responsible for the design of the product.
  • Analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured.
  • A strong technical background with experience in one or more IT areas.
  • Recognising the corporate strategy.
  • Is a team player and is able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
  • Be able to identity and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and “truths” and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others.
  • Ability to work in teams and work dedicated for a team.
  • Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends and evaluate them for applicability.
  • Ability to manage and drive from the technical side initiatives, POCs, smaller projects
