Are you able to setup a Talent Acquisition team and engage the best talent out there for HEINEKEN Corporate Office?

As Talent Acquisition Lead, you take the lead in building an effective recruiting team & strategy:

This role combines the skills of a top recruiter with strong stakeholder management, a leader with outstanding people skills and the ability to assess business opportunities and align them with strategic business goals. Your overall assignment is to build a recruitment team and develop and implement processes & methods. After you made sure our recruitment basics exceed industry standards, you will take initiatives to deliver a consistent and transparent candidate experience from start to finish like no-one has seen before.

Day at the office:

It’s Monday morning and you start your day in Amsterdam with a team meeting to discuss all vacancies in Corporate Office. Since you are in the midst of setting up a new recruitment team in HEINEKEN, things are not as highly structured as you are (possibly) used to.

Time to make quick, yet well thought decisions (in alignment with global policies). After the meeting you check your mail and go downstairs to grab a coffee with Bo and Jacobien to catch up – the barista recognizes you and hands you your regular choice with a smile on her face. This is also why you have a meeting with Dennis, Dorette and Ben who are part of Corporate Office and Global Acquisition team to set up a recruiting strategy and decide on what objectives you will have for the remainder of the year. Time for lunch: You and the rest of the HR team decide to eat at Le Salonard and to take a walk through De Pijp to boost your ‘daily steps’ for the Global Health Challenge.

Right after lunch, you have two meetings with HR leadership on recruitment strategy and objectives for the remainder of 2019. Time to discuss with managers of the business to discuss the needs to find digital talent that will drive HEINEKEN’s ambition 2020. Afterwards, you have a meeting in this context with Dorette, our Global HR Social Media Manager, to discuss the finishing touches for your new ‘Digital’ LinkedIn campaign. Time to go home, another exciting day of building the recruiting team and capability of HEINEKEN successfully.

In sum, these are the Pro’s & Con’s of this position:

  • Freedom to set up a whole new team in HEINEKEN Corporate Office;
  • By finding the right candidates, your actions have direct impact on the success of HEINEKEN worldwide;
  • You are going to work highly diverse colleagues from more than 70 countries ranging from starters to executive leadership;
  • You have such a strong network in the market that you cannot walk from the office to the station without bumping into a great candidate.

Your profile

In order to be successful in this opportunity you have:

  • You are an experienced, transformational leader with at least 4 years of leadership experience and extraordinary people management skills. You will lead a team of 5 fte;
  • You have 8+ years in recruitment, and have a strong understanding of various strategies, best practices and talent markets;
  • You are entrepreneurial, strategic, empowering and somewhat data-obsessed;
  • You are a fantastic communicator and influencer, adaptable and able to create structure for others;
  • You are a visionary leader in the space of recruitment, sourcing, management or leadership (bonus points if you previously set up a (recruitment) team successfully).
