Title:  Regional Rewards Manager Europe

As part of the Rewards Centre of Expertise team you will support the creation and implementation of rewards solutions that enhance the pay for performance culture, ensure competitiveness, fairness and affordability in alignment with business strategy. Furthermore, you will be a member of the Europe HR regional team supporting and co-creating the regional Europe HR strategy.


In this role your tasks and responsibilities will be:

•            Review and ensure implementation of compensation and benefits strategies across all Operating Companies in line with the Global strategy.

•            Develop compensation and benefits knowledge and processes in the operating companies in the region, and lead the rewards capability building agenda in the region.

•            Lead the Rewards network in the region to create regional rewards agenda in order to support business strategy.

•            Drive the improvement of rewards program, plans and practice in the region to achieve regional synergy.

•            Proactively serves as subject matter expert for compensation and benefits programs to leadership, management and HR communities providing guidance, recommendations and changes.

•            Market benchmarking, identification and roll out of best practices with regard to compensation & benefits, job evaluation, organisation structure, employer branding and any reward related topic relevant to the business.

•            Lead the implementation of global policy changes in the region with internal and external stakeholders.

•            Support global projects and influence the global C&B agenda from a regional perspective, representing the needs of the region.

•            Support the global roll out of Core HR and Compensation systems in the region.

•            Support Operating Companies in all job grading requirements, including using the Heineken Job Family Model, and using HAY JE methodology

•            Support Lead the annual compensation process and drive organisational efficiencies

•            Support Green field operations or M&A initiatives

•            Advise and support Operating Company HR Directors and Compensation and Benefits Managers regarding all Rewards matters.

•            Drive employer branding through the creation of employer value propositions in each Operating Company to support our talent acquisition and retention.

•            Ensures compensation programs are in compliance with internal guidelines, local and country regulatory requirements.


Your profile

For this role we are looking for a communicative professional with a high organizational sensitivity and who is confident, credible and convincing. You are able to bring value to Operating Companies and influence different levels of stakeholders and have a strong drive for further growth potential and high energy - matching the demanding pace of an ambitious A-brand multinational in transition.


Also the ideal candidate:

•            Has a Master/Bachelor degree

•            Has >10 years of broad Rewards experience, including significant international Rewards experience (additional HRBP experience is a plus).

•            Is fluent in English.

•            Strong project management skills

•            Results driven and problem solving skills

•            Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skill

•            Excellent analytical and reporting skills

•            Willingness to travel to Operating Companies across the region.

•            Experience on Regional Rewards Role is a plus
