Your job

Are you a graduate student and passionate about people and organizational development? Do you want to be part of a great company and experience what it’s like to work in an international environment?


Within HR Corporate Office, an internship will be available as per July of 2019. This vacancy is for the role of People Development Intern, HEINEKEN Group. As an intern in People Development you will be working together with the People Development Team in creating, organizing and implementing organizational development initiatives. You will also support the HR Business Partners in enabling the business to develop their employees.


To list a few of your responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the 2019/2020 People Agenda (e.g. reviewing the performance management process and enable inclusion & diversity initiatives)
  • Coordinating development activities (e.g. talent programme sessions, our personal leadership and development programmes)
  • Contribute in the optimisation of our HR processes like performance management, Talent Acquisition, HR Analytics
  • Provide ideas for initiatives to ensure the development of employees within HEINEKEN Corporate Office

You will be part of the HR Group department based in Amsterdam. You will be reporting directly to the People Development manager. HR Group consists of multiple HR Business Partners, Legal Advisors and a Reward Specialist.


Your profile

You are currently a student in a relevant field of study at WO/Master level like Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or Business Administration.

And do you recognize yourself in the following:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about people and organizational development
  • Analytical thinker and ability to work in a structured way on projects
  • Project management experience is beneficial
  • Experience in a coordinating role and understanding change management
  • Flexible and being able to prioritize tasks/projects
  • Good communication skills: written, spoken and interpersonal
  • A pragmatic person with a can-do and hands-on mentality
  • Working with data and systems comes naturally to you
  • Detail oriented and customer focused
  • Fluent in English with an international interest
