Intern Low No Alcohol – Heineken International, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Heineken N.V. is the number one brewer in Europe and one of the largest brewers in the world. Heineken Global Commerce is looking for two curious, ambitious interns to support the Low No Alcohol (LNA) Team.  Low and No Alcohol is one of the fastest growing and most exciting beverage categories as consumers live healthier lives, seek out more existing tastes and experiences and seek solutions to help them in a busy world.

 

The roles available are:

  • Consumer & Market Insights

Category support (Low and no alcohol Beer & Beer Mixes category and Brewed Softdrinks category)

 

All interns will be involved in projects and missions that include but are not limited to:

  1. New Product Development support
    • Supporting product innovation projects through participating in workshops, liaising with operating companies and agencies and supporting on design and packaging elements of innovation. 
  2. LNA Internal Communications
    • Assisting with internal communications via the LNA internal website and @Workplace (Facebook @work)
  3. Supply Chain Support
    • Assisting with various requests such as arranging the delivery of samples, organising internal taste tests and liaising with key operating companies when new products are being developed.
  4. LNA Team Support

Supporting the LNA team with initiatives such as workshops, meetings and social events.

Consumer, Market and Competitor Intelligence:

Providing insight to the team using consumer and market data, assisting with research projects and monitoring trends

 

Support for well-established brands and market innovations: Assisting with brand portfolio expansion of Radler and other low- or no-alcoholic product launches in new markets; developing new concepts for a diverse category

 

 

The successful intern will require all of the following skills:

  • A natural curiosity and willingness to ask why.
  • A passion for the world of beer and low no alcohol.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Solid excel skills would be an advantage.
  • Confident, with good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and deal with multiple project owners
  • Highly motivated with strong sense of personal initiative.
  • We will consider applicants from all academic disciplines, but specific attention will be paid to those from marketing, market research, business and innovation
  • The intern must be currently registered as a student in a third level institution (University/HBO/Bachelor/Master).

Remuneration and Support:

€500 per month

All transport costs covered

European international students will be eligible to apply for Erasmus support grant.

The intern will be supported by a line manager who will provide mentoring, support and periodic appraisals. The intern will also have access to senior managers across the LNA team. He/ she will work alongside two other interns supporting the LNA team.
